Event Description

Deciphering the Canine Code with Sarah KalnajsApril 20th and 21st, 2013 at Trident Technical College.

Internationally renowned certified canine behaviorist and dog trainer, Sarah Kalnajs of Blue Dog Training comes to Charleston to help us Decipher the Canine Code.This seminar will offer insight into dog-to-dog, dog-to-human, and human-to-dog communication.  

The author of the award winning and highly acclaimed DVD Series, "Language of Dogs" and "Am I Safe," Sarah is one of the most sought after international speakers on "all things dog" and has spoken for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers in the United States, Australia and New Zealand as well as shelter, veterinary and training conferences throughout the world.

Day one is an in depth look at canine body language, and how we can better understand what our dogs are telling us. On day two of the seminar, Sarah will focus on issues such as leash reactivity, resource guarding, fear aggression, and dominance.  The seminar will be of value to anyone who lives with or works with dogs. Sarah's blend of humor and scientifically based information with high quality video gives attendees an experience that is both enjoyable and educational.

This seminar will also be eligible for Continuing Education Credit for pet industry professionals.

The seminar will be from 9:00am-5:00pm each day with a few 15 minute breaks and an 1.5 hour break for lunch.

Choose between a two day ticket, or a Saturday only ticket. Unfortunately, a Sunday only ticket is not available because the information presented on Sunday builds upon Saturday's session.
